Like & Subscribe. In late November 2007, Fiat presented the third facelift of the Siena (also known as the Siena G4) to the Brazilian market. And, for the first time, an effort by the brand to distance the sedan from the Palio's visual appearance was noticeable. To this end, the Siena adopted new headlights with double parabolas, a new grille and redesigned bumper, as well as new taillights reminiscent of some Alfa Romeo models. The equipment list remained practically the same, but in 2008 all versions of the Siena came standard with power steering. The engine lineup was also updated, making the 1.0 flex engine more powerful (now with 73/75 hp). The improvement also affected the 1.4 flex engine, which jumped from 80/81 hp to 85/86 hp. The GM 1.8 engine was the only one that did not undergo any changes. In 2009, Fiat began selling the Siena EL, a simpler version with the Palio's front end, a 1.0 engine, and a smaller equipment list. In 2011, this version also gained the option of a 1.4 engine, while the nomenclature of the other configurations changed from ELX and HLX to Attractive and Essence. Other new features introduced around the same time included the addition of the E-Torq 1.6 16V engine (115/117 hp) in the Essence trim, replacing the old 1.8 engine, and the arrival of the sporty Sporting version, which had the same engine. After the arrival of the new generation of the Siena, which came in 2012 named Grand Siena (read more below), Fiat continued selling the Siena EL until October 2016. In its final years, the model was sold in 1.0 8V 75 hp and 1.4 8V 86 hp versions, with prices ranging from R$ 36,800 to R$ 39,610.
