Working Visit by the Commander of the Indonesian Army's Artillery Center and His Wife to the 8th/Uddhata Yudha Armed Battalion The Commander of the Indonesian Army's Field Artillery Weaponry Center, Major General TNI Doctor. The working visit was conducted to inspect the unit, including unit conditions, personnel readiness, and the readiness of the main weapons systems (alutsista) of the 8th/Uddhata Yudha Armed Battalion. This activity also served as part of the development of the Medan Artillery Corps units to ensure they are always ready to face the dynamics and complexities of future tasks. The arrival of the Commander of the Indonesian Army's Armed Forces Center (Pussenarmed TNI AD) and his entourage was welcomed by the Commander of the 8th/Uddhata Yudha Infantry Battalion, Lieutenant Colonel Arm Indra Asmara Manurung, S.I.P., and all the soldiers. The welcome began with a line of honor by the soldiers of the 8th/Uddhata Yudha Infantry Battalion as a sign of respect for the leadership of the Medan Artillery Corps. The atmosphere was further enhanced by a drum band performance by children from the Kartika IV-14 Kindergarten of the 8th/UY Infantry Battalion. The presence of the children in the welcoming ceremony provided a humanistic atmosphere and reflected the unit's close relationship with the community and surrounding environment. As part of the series of activities, the Commander of the Indonesian Army's Armed Forces Center (Pussenarmed TNI AD) planted durian trees as a symbol of environmental concern and the unit's commitment to preserving the natural environment in the area. The durian tree has the philosophy of growing slowly but taking strong roots, patiently waiting for its time, and eventually providing great benefits to many. This reflects the character of Field Artillery soldiers who are resilient, patient in the process, strong in facing challenges, and always providing benefits to their units, communities, nation, and state. Furthermore, the Commander of the Indonesian Army's Armed Forces Center (Pussenarmed) directly witnessed a Field Artillery branch training exercise, namely the Battery Service Cannon Service (PMDB). The exercise demonstrated the soldiers' technical skills in carrying out cannon service procedures in a well-trained, measured, integrated manner, and in accordance with Field Artillery branch standards. In addition to witnessing the branch training, the Commander of Pussenarmed also conducted a defense equipment inspection to ensure the operational readiness of the unit's material. This inspection is a crucial part of unit development, as the readiness of the defense equipment is a key factor in supporting the successful implementation of the Field Artillery's duties as the Indonesian Army's fire support element. In his briefing to the soldiers of Yonarmed 8/Uddhata Yudha, the Commander of the Military Center (Pussenarmed) emphasized the importance of maintaining the honor of the unit, enhancing professionalism, and strengthening discipline, loyalty, solidarity, and a spirit of service as soldiers of the Field Artillery Corps. "Medan Artillery soldiers must be able to respond to every challenge with a spirit of Speed, Accuracy, and Dominance. They must be quick in responding to every developing situation, accurate in thinking, acting, and utilizing combat skills, and dominant in providing the best possible service to the Indonesian Army, the nation, and the state," emphasized the Commander of Pussenarmed.
