The Indonesian Navy's elite Frogman Command (Kopaska) was born from a long training process. One of the stages prospective frogmen must go through is "hell week." The term refers to the training program's pattern, which resembles a "hell" situation. In this stage, each participant faces physical and mental pressure to the point of breaking through their limits. "I went through that. I thought hell week was over, but it turned out that was just the beginning (of becoming a Kopaska soldier)," recalled Lieutenant Colonel Harwoko Aji, Commander of the Kopaska Unit, Koarmada I, on the Brigade Podcast program. Soulful Torpedo Kopaska itself has a very distinctive secret weapon: the soulful torpedo. The soulful torpedo is not an automatic torpedo, but rather a torpedo piloted by Kopaska soldiers to carry out special missions such as precision detonation of underwater objects. "Our slogan is soulful torpedo. We are a one-way ticket to operations," said Harwoko. In addition to bombing, torpedo operations with souls are also carried out for reconnaissance and sabotage. Although extremely dangerous, torpedoes with souls hold a profound philosophical meaning, reflecting the courage of Kopaska soldiers in carrying out special missions, even at the risk of their lives.
