Vier Jahre später: ich besuche wieder die Geisterstadt (GhostTown) am Untersberg

One of my first videos on this channel was about the old Mayr quarry on the Untersberg mountain, which in the early 1970s was nicknamed "Ghost Town" by the children and teenagers of Fürstenbrunn. They used the then-abandoned industrial site as an adventure playground. The engine house, residential and work buildings, and the railway tracks, including the shunting train for transporting materials, were still there and intact. Years later, when youth groups used the location for parties and paintball games, the local residents became aware of the illegal visitors on the abandoned industrial site. A police operation ended the activities in the area, and the owner had all the buildings demolished and the existing infrastructure removed as much as possible. Then silence fell over the Ghost Town, and this place became a true lost place. I visited this old site four years ago and have long intended to revisit this now little-known place to see what changes have occurred.
