رولا جبريل إعلامية وكاتبة فلسطينية تحمل الجنسية الإيطالية. عملت مذيعة في قناة "أم أس أن بي سي" (MSNBC) واشتهرت من خلال برنامج "صباح الخير إيطاليا" الذي استضافت فيه شخصيات إيطالية سياسية وثقافية واجتماعية. كتبت روايتها الأولى في العام ٢٠٠٣ بعنوان "ميرال" والتي ترجمت الى ١٥٠ لغة، وقد تمّ تحويلّها إلى فيلم سينمائي. وهي اليوم من أشرس المدافعين عن القضايا العربية في المحافل الدولية. تعيش رولا حاليًا مع زوجها وابنتها في مدينة نيويورك، وهي أستاذة في جامعة ميامي. مع "ريكاردو كرم" برنامج حواري منوّع يستقبل ضيفاً أو مجموعة ضيوف، جميعهم ملهمين. يهدف من خلاله ضخّ الحماسة عند الشباب عبر الإضاءة على مواضيع أو حكايا تشكّل مصدر وحي لهم حتى يقولوا :"أنا ايضاً أستطيع". Rula Jebreal is a Palestinian foreign policy analyst, journalist, novelist and screenwriter with dual Israeli and Italian citizenship. She was the first foreign anchorperson in the history of television news in Italy, where she went on to host multiple political talk shows. Since moving to the United States in 2009, Rula has been an on-air foreign policy analyst for MSNBC and a contributor to the Daily Beast, Newsweek and Salon.com, where her articles have reflected a deep knowledge of Islamic extremism, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and the new political order in the Arab Muslim world. Her first novel Miral, a best-seller, has been translated into 15 languages. She has many other publications such as “The Bride of Aswan” and “Rejected.” Rula currently lives between Rome and Miami where she teaches at The University of Miami.
