AIWA AD1600 Vintage HI-FI Cassette Deck 1977 Part 1 (4K)

Unfinished Project. A look at this lovely vintage deck that is very well built. In this video, the aim was to hear it play. Like all decks of this age, most of the grease has turned hard and its the worst case I've seen of dissolved belts I've dealt with. The counter belts are too tight and some further look at some idlers is needed. A look at the capacitors is a must too. Currently filed in the loft, hopefully I will get round to finishing this project. Warning: working with Mains/Line equipment is hazardous. Filmed Feb 2021. Music from YouTube Audio Library.
