This time, I walked around the shopping street in front of the station in Sunagawa City, Hokkaido, Japan. This street is between the railroad tracks and the national highway. It is named Higashi 1-jo Dori which means East 1st street. Sunagawa was once a coal mine town. I can imagine that there were a lot of people at this station at that time. The format of that time still remains in this shopping street. I like the scenery of the bridge, willow, and retro buildings over the Panke Utashinai River.
