We all know what it feels like to head out to make photographs and the weather has different ideas. We dream of great light, God beams, rainbows and unicorns; all the stuff of majestic and fabulous images. Here on the west coast of Scotland, more often than not, your expectations will not be fulfilled. On days like these, it is too easy to feel despondent and down, broken, beaten and dissatisfied. This is not how I operate, and can make engaging and interesting photographs (to me anyway) in any weather. This week I show a new composition (to me) that I found on a workshop I was running in January. The weather was pretty bad, but I loved the composition.
