The moment the lights dimmed and the title appeared, and I heard Satomi Kobayashi’s line, “Seagulls in Finland are big,” I was so overwhelmed that I couldn’t hold back my tears 😭✨ The slightly grainy, film-like texture felt so nostalgic and beautiful, and the everyday atmosphere with the music was incredibly comforting ☺️ From the “Welcome!” to the ending… it was simply perfect 👍 By the way, I went two days in a row (April 15th and 16th), and saw it one last time on April 23rd 😌🎞️ It’s a film I’ll always love and treasure.
