The Two Signs Prophecy Before the "Big Events" | Metropolitan Neophytos | (22.5.2019)

This is a segment [1:25:27- end] from the 3rd "Lighting the Lighter of the Saints" Meeting with His Eminence Metropolitan Neophytos of Morphou, which took place on 22 May 2019 as part of the events organized by the Holy Church of Saints Constantine and Helen [of] Dali, celebrating the feast day of their patron saints on the 21st of May each year, with the occasion of the visit of the holy icon of Panagia Elaionisitssa from the Holy Church of the Holy Apostles located on the Mount of Olives [in Jerusalem]. Over these past 7 years, His Eminence has mentioned this particular prophecy in his sermons many times, which means that he has heard it from more than one holy people of God [Patristic Consensus]. One of them must have been Holy Gerondissa Galaktia (✝2021). In the book "Holy Gerondissa Galaktia," (4th ed., 2024), on p. 192 monk Ioannis is asked: [citing the passage translated] "Did Gerondissa [Galaktia] share any prophecies?" "Yes, she did, and if she said it, then it is so. For example, she said for Turkey that after the fall of Erdogan, the Kemalists and the stockbrokers will come and cause much worse events in Crete and Greece ... and then it will be the end of Turkey, and Greece will be glorified. She said that hunger and poverty will come ... We will go through these, but I don't know for how long ... God will be the judge of that ..." As I have written in other video descriptions, we, the unworthy, had the chance to listen to this exact prophecy from the mouth of the prophet of God himself. The prophecy is also mentioned in the book: “Homilies of Metropolitan of Morphou Neophytos, Words of Empiric Theology of Holy Fathers and Mothers”, Vol. A, 2020, p. 129-132. Her "poems" are in Greek, but the general meaning can be understood using a simple translation app.. They are extraordinary because the Theotokos — and even Christ Himself — speak to modern Greeks through her poems, expressing sorrow over the spiritual decay of Greece. (6). Finally, the saints has repeatedly said that "The events will be global because the sin is global." Even if you know what is to come and use this knowledge to earn money or fame instead of saving your souls, what's the point? "For what will profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?" [Mark 8:36] Even if we live to see these events happening in the coming years and don't face death in the meantime, even if we survive the biological war, even if we survive the natural disasters, even if we survive the Third World War, the nuclear weapons, radioenergy and the rest of the afflictions, we will certainly face death some day and we will need: "a good defence before the dread judgement seat of Christ."
