I jacked up my back, neck, ribs and hip on this crash! Trinidad Shuttle Laps 11/18/24

We finally got a little bit of rain so we headed up into the mountains to hit one of my favorite trails. We got to celebrate Kasey's and Daniel's birthday with some proper DH shuttle laps. Ive been several months for me since Ive had a crash so I was definitely getting my confidence back but unfortunately that lucky streak ended on the first lap. I went to roll a boulder that I normally huck and my front tire went into the hole and sent me flying OTB. I actually did a complete flip and landed on my back. I flew about 15 feet and slid down about another 5 feet. I was in a lot of pain but the conditions were so good I wanted to keep riding. I did 3 more laps but on the last lap when I was walking back to film Daniel and Kasey take the ladder drop my left foot slipped and it locked up my back. At that moment I knew my day was over. I was able to ride the rest of the way down and became the shuttle driver. The pain really kicked in the day after, I was barely able to get out of bed. My lower back, neck, ribs and left hip was all jacked up. Ive definitely had bigger crashes but this one was definitely one of the more painful ones and probably one of the longest for me to recover from.
