I wasn't expecting to catch THIS on a size 1 stumpjumper!

I spent the afternoon paddling down the Campaspe River in my Safari H2O 'Murray' kayak searching for some Murray Cod, with a size 1 stumpjumper being my weapon of choice. After a hit early in the session, I knew I had the right lure for the job. After running into and spooking a ton of absolutely massive carp, I rounded another bend and hooked into a fish. I certainly wasn't expecting to catch a small redfin on a lure this big! At first I thought I had foul hooked it, but upon reviewing the footage you can clearly see it came up and struck at the lure. I have no idea how that redfin thought it was going to eat the massive stumpjumper, but it sure proved to be entertaining. Between the huge carp, the tiny redfin, and the missed hookup of what I assume was a small cod, I had loads of fun.
