Silent Hiking | Photographing Landscapes of Dovre

Getting The Shot EP9 — Mountain photography in early autumn. This series from the Nordic wilderness combines silent hiking, nature and landscape photography with an immersive Slow TV approach. About this film: Step into the authentic field process of a solo trek through the wild, changing Nordic terrain. No frantic vlogging, no gear-talk distractions, and no voice-over. Just a slow-paced visual journey matching cinematic landscape frames with high-fidelity, raw ambient nature sounds and music. Designed as an immersive digital sanctuary to provide inspiration, breathing room, and quiet stillness. For the truest sensory escape, I highly recommend watching on a large 4K screen. No voice-over. Just nature sounds, music, and the cinematic nature story behind one photograph. 🎥 Getting the Shot – Season 1 playlist:    • GETTING THE SHOT - Every Image Has A Story   🌲 Website / Project hub: https://www.nordicnatureproject.com/ ✉️ Newsletter: https://www.nordicnatureproject.com/n... In this episode: • Hiking deep into Dovrefjell National Park • Finding a panoramic view of Snøhetta • The fog rolling in and covering the mountains • As the sun sets it finally clears • Setting up for a backlit montain view, hoping that Snøhetta will be revealed. Dovrefjell National Park is an ancient and expansive mountain range in central Norway, home to the wild muskox and vast high-alpine plateaus. In autumn, the tundra transforms into a sea of deep ochre and gold, where Snøhetta, the "Queen of Dovre", dominates the horizon. It is a landscape defined by rugged permanence, immense silence, and a sense of deep, geological time that humbles the traveler. ⭐ I rate my own final photo in the pinned comment.
