These 3 Spots have the Best Soul Food in Los Angeles?!

I’ve tried two soul food spots in LA—twice—and overall, they were delicious. But every time I ask y’all for more recommendations on the BEST soul food restaurants in Los Angeles, the same spots always come up. And what’s funny is, half of y’all swear they’ve got the best soul food in LA… while the other half say they’re overrated and not that good at all! 😅 So last week, I finally decided to try three of those spots for myself to see if they really deserve the title of BEST soul food in Los Angeles. And, all I’m gonna say is… damn! 😳 To keep it fair across the board, I ordered the exact same thing at every spot: a classic platter with two pieces of fried chicken, mac and cheese, collard greens, and cornbread. One place was a little more expensive than the others, but overall, all three spots were priced pretty similarly—and the prices felt reasonable.
