Builes and Impagnatiello - An Empirical Argument for Presentism
David Builes and Michele Odisseas Impagnatiello argue that presentism -- the idea that only the present is real, unlike the past and the future -- fits modern science better than does its main alternative, eternalism. This is in some ways a surprising argument, since philosophers often argue that presentism doesn't fit in with relativity theory. We explore the context and the basic shape of their idea.
