Severe thunderstorms are possible on Sunday afternoon with a better chance of a few scattered severe storms in the southeastern Piedmont Triad. Damaging wind gusts are the main threat on Sunday after 2 p.m. until 11 p.m. in areas like Winston-Salem, Greensboro, Burlington and Troy.
