The "Stop Kassel Airport" alliance has published a new report – with a clear message: the airport causes more harm than good. Around 31,000 tons of CO₂ emissions per year, declining passenger numbers, and high operating costs of approximately €20 million annually – these are criticisms also voiced by the Green Party in the Hessian State Parliament.
