Title | The Almighty Who Turns Suffering into Blessings and Blessings into Suffering Word | Psalm 107:23-43 23 Those who set their boats ashore, those who work on the great waters 24 see the works of the LORD, and His wondrous works, in the depths. 25 At the LORD’s command, a storm arises, and the waves of the sea rise. 26 They soar to the heavens and descend into the depths; their souls melt away because of the danger. 27 They toss about and stagger like drunkards; all their understanding is thrown into confusion. 28 Then they cry out to the LORD because of their distress, and He brings them out of their distress. 29 He calms the storm and makes the waves still. 30 And in their rejoicing of the calm, the LORD leads them to the harbor they desire. 31 Praise the LORD for His mercy and for the wonders He has done to the children of men. 32 Exalt Him in the assembly of the people; praise Him from the seat of the elders. 33 The LORD turns the rivers into a wilderness. He turns springs into dry land. 34 Because of the wickedness of the inhabitants, he turns the fertile soil into a salt field. 35 He turns the wilderness into a pool, and the dry land into springs of water. 36 He causes the hungry to dwell there, and prepares a city for them to live in. 37 He sows in the fields and cultivates the vineyards, and brings forth an abundant harvest. 38 And though he blesses them and makes them greatly prosper and their livestock not decrease, 39 again through oppression, disaster, and trouble he reduces their numbers and humbles them. 40 The LORD pours out disgrace upon the princes and makes them wander in the pathless wilderness. 41 He delivers the needy from their suffering and keeps their families like a flock. 42 The upright see and rejoice, and all the wicked seal their mouths. 43 The wise observe these things and see the lovingkindness of the LORD I shall realize Amen ---------------------------------------------- Jeju Gosan Church | 12-1 Gosan-ro, Hangyeong-myeon, Jeju-si (064-773-0064)
