Some of You May Die — Necromancy Helped. The Desert Didn’t Care — Run Two
Run Two: Step One — Plains: The First Misstep I began Run Two in the familiar Plains, choosing the Singleplayer mode and the Standard Squad. My first opponent was a lone Grunt — harmless enough, or so I thought. I placed my basic units, invested a bit of gold… and lost. A narrow defeat, but a reminder that this world enjoys humbling newcomers. The rematch went better. I adjusted the formation, placed the Herbalist and Tank more wisely, and secured the win. With confidence restored, I expanded the squad: Summoner, Warlock, Archer — and by Round 3 even a mischievous Gremlin joined the ranks. The Plains fell quickly beneath the weight of our growing chaos. Step Two — Arctic: Cold Winds, Cold Lessons After Round 3, the world map guided us into the frozen Arctic. The battlefield turned icy, and the enemies turned serious. I invested in Necromancy, Growing Luck, and attack upgrades. The Summoner’s army grew — living and otherwise. Then came the Legendary Shop, a rare blessing in the cold. I strengthened my Tanks and polished the Summoner’s abilities. The battles intensified: enemies with Holy Armor, Mass Heal, and shields tried to outlast us. Round 6 brought another defeat, but a rematch and some well‑placed upgrades carried us through. Round 7 was a storm of Blast damage, Warlock magic, and shielded foes — chaotic, loud, but victorious. Step Three — Desert: Heat, Pressure, and Hard‑Won Triumphs Leaving the Arctic behind, we marched into the Desert — a place where the sun burns and the enemies bite. Rounds 8 and 9 were brutal. Magicians, ranged attackers, legionaries — all eager to dismantle our formation. I shifted Tanks, repositioned supports, and even sacrificed weaker units to feed XP to key heroes like the Tank and Warlock. Both rounds were won, but barely. The Desert never gives victories for free. Step Four — The Fall in Round 10 Round 10 was the breaking point. A massive enemy wave with high attack speed and devastating AoE spells crashed into our formation. My frontline held for a moment, then shattered. Summoned creatures vanished faster than I could count. Healers fell one by one. And then the final message appeared: “You reached Round 10/20.” Another run ended, another story written. In this world, survival is optional — but the adventure never disappoints.
