INSIDE Britain's Oddest Lighthouse - Nab Tower
In this remastered old explore, we visit a lonely tower in the Solent, Hampshire. It was built in the early 1900's for anti-submarine protection, however the war had ended before the tower could become operational, and so was mothballed. It has been used as a lighthouse ever since. In 2015, it underwent repairs, where the overall height was reduced - it originally stood at 90ft tall. The lighthouse is still in use today, albeit in an automated way, however it's history is very interesting, which is why we had to explore it. Below, is an interesting link to the BBC, where it goes into detail on the structure. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england... DISCLAIMER We did NOT cause any damage, and left everything how it was when we arrived. IMPORTANT This footage was filmed in 2020. ALL original Backlash regarding this visit back in 2020 had been Settled - This is simply just a remaster of the old video. Joined by, and drone footage by: TheSecretVault EW #exploring #ww1 #tower
