The Night Belongs to Him - Bloodborne Inspired Dark Orchestral

THE NIGHT BELONGS TO HIM - BLOODBORNE INSPIRED DARK ORCHESTRAL FOR WRITING & DEEP FOCUS "The Night Belongs to Him" is a 7-track Bloodborne inspired dark orchestral album following a young hunter at the start of everything — fast, confident, magnificent, standing on a high place above a gothic town that opens below him like it was waiting for exactly him. He has not yet been given a reason to doubt his speed or his certainty, and so he doesn't. He has gone where older hunters went and come back faster, cleaner, with breath to spare. The night has asked him questions and he has answered all of them, and he has drawn the reasonable conclusion of the young and the talented — that the questions are the kind a person answers, and that he is the kind who answers them. He does not know yet that the night keeps asking. That it tests you every night, and the test gets no easier, only your confidence does. He wouldn't mind — he'd hold the pose if he knew you were watching, not from vanity exactly, though there's that, but because he believes a thing worth doing is worth being seen doing. He is young. He is fast. He has not yet been given a reason to doubt either of those facts, and so he doesn't. The town spreads out below him, lit and waiting, and he reads it the way other men read a familiar street — that window, that alley, the bell that means they've noticed him and the silence that means they haven't yet. He knows it all. He learned it quickly, because he learns everything quickly, and this too he takes as simply the way of things rather than a gift that might one day stop giving. He is good at the hunt, and this is not arrogance, or not only — it is observation. He has gone where older hunters went and come back faster, cleaner, with breath to spare. He has stood in rooms that would have ended someone slower and walked out adjusting his coat. The night has asked him questions and he has answered all of them, and so he has drawn the reasonable conclusion of the young and the talented — that the questions are the kind a person answers, and that he is the kind who answers them. He does not know yet that the night keeps asking. That it is patient in a way no single hunt reveals. That it does not test you once and award you the night; it tests you every night, and the test gets no easier, only your confidence does, and confidence is the thing it is most patient about taking. But that is not tonight's lesson. Tonight there is no lesson. That is the gift of being where he is — early, unbloodied in the way that counts, still made entirely of speed and certainty and the clean joy of being very good at a hard thing. Let him have it. The ones who came before him would not begrudge it; they were here once too, every one of them, standing on some high place looking down at a town they were sure they understood, fast and young and right, and they remember the feeling, the ones who are still capable of remembering. Some of them would give a great deal to feel it again, that uncomplicated certainty, before they learned what it costs and what it cannot buy. He shoulders his weapon. The motion is easy. Everything is still easy. He starts down toward the lights, unhurried, because he has all night and the night is his — he is certain of this, the way you can only be certain of a thing you have not yet lost — and the town opens below him like something that was waiting for exactly him. Maybe it was. Tonight, let it have been. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is a Human-led creative project.
