Antofagasta surprised us from the very first moment. Nestled between the Pacific Ocean and the Atacama Desert, this city is full of contrasts, fascinating history, and unexpected encounters. In this episode, we explore the streets of Antofagasta, visit its historic landmarks, discover the impressive Huanchaca Ruins, and stand above the spectacular rock arch of La Portada. One of the biggest highlights of our visit was meeting a colony of sea lions right in the city harbor. Just a few meters away, these incredible animals have made themselves at home in the middle of the city.
