Special Moments With Gorilla Bobóto And Grown Up Pepe

🌿🦍*Gorilla Bobóto meets the Krefeld mangabeys, while young Pepe shows off his silverback maturity alongside leader Kidogo.* Gorilla Bobóto from Zoo Krefeld sat down right next to the Mangabey monkey. At the moment they are still separated with a fence. Soon the mangabeys and the gorillas will be in together, but right now it is still a soft introduction to see how things go. I filmed Santu doing this last week, and now it is Bobóto's turn. He sits in front of the Mangabey and eats his veg. I honestly thought he might share. That would have been something! At one point he even sticks his tongue through the fence. These are the exact same type of Mangabeys that you might know from Zoo Arcachon Bassin, like Litchee. Next up is Pepe. Just look at him, he has his silver already and he is still with the troop! It is quite surprising that his dad is still okay with him being there, but he seems to be. He just lets him get on with it. Then I spotted the boss himself, Silverback and leader of the troop Kidogo. He always seems to be very chilled when I visit. I still remember on my previous visit. Oya was chasing after him and screaming at him, and he chose to run away rather than to confront her! Back inside, this is the old inside area which is very small, but even though they now have their brand new place, they still prefer this older smaller space.
