Monte Baldo - Lake Garda, Verona - Italy Trailhead: Novezza di Monte Baldo, Verona - Italy July 2023 Itinerary: Novezza to Cima Valdritta to rifugio Telegrafo and return to Novezza. 7 mi 2700 ft elevation gain Hike Notes: This was a very enjoyable afternoon hike to a classic destination close to Verona and Lake Garda to one of the summit of Monte Baldo: Cima Valdritta. The hike also included a visit to rifugio Telegrafo for a panoramic coffee break. The weather was perfect and the expansive views of Lake Garda and surrounding mountains from the crest of Monte Baldo were truly beautiful. The crest trail and the rifugio Telegrafo are both accessible from multiple trails; consequently they were pretty busy as expected for a summer day. Overall a great little hike.
