YEAH💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾EBENEZER‼️

There are two Ebenezers in the book of 1 Samuel — one connected to defeat, and another connected to deliverance. In 1 Samuel 4, Israel camped beside a place called Ebenezer, yet they were defeated by the Philistines. The ark of God was captured, Eli’s sons died, and the glory departed from Israel. But in 1 Samuel 7, Samuel raised a stone and called it Ebenezer, saying: “Thus far the Lord has helped us.” — 1 Samuel 7:12 The Hebrew meaning of Ebenezer is “stone of help” — from ’eben, meaning stone, and ‘ezer, meaning help, aid, or support. This teaching explores the powerful difference between the place called Ebenezer and the stone called Ebenezer. One reveals the danger of trusting religious symbols without repentance. The other reveals the mercy of God when His people return to Him with all their hearts. At the first Ebenezer, Israel trusted the ark as a symbol. At the second Ebenezer, Israel trusted the Lord Himself. This message will help you reflect on where your confidence is placed: in religious activity, spiritual history, titles, and symbols — or in a living, surrendered relationship with God. Your first Ebenezer does not have to be your final story. What was once a place of defeat can become a place of testimony when you return to the Lord. Thus far, the Lord has helped us. #Ebenezer #ThusFarTheLordHasHelpedUs #StoneOfHelp #1Samuel #1Samuel4 #1Samuel7 #BibleStudy #ChristianTeaching #BiblicalTeaching #BibleRevelation #OldTestamentTeaching #Samuel #ArkOfTheCovenant #ReturnToGod #Repentance #GodIsOurHelp #FaithMessage #ChristianInspiration #ChristianMotivation #SpiritualGrowth #PropheticTeaching #FaithOverDefeat #GodsHelp #ChristianYouTube #InCommunionWithGod #ClorisaRanganayi
