A beautiful campsite on the side of the road near a river that almost always has water! This place is perfect for camping or just spending the day! When we arrived, this place was practically to ourselves, where we could enjoy the peace and quiet, cook food over a firewood, wade into the river, hike along the Chepe train tracks, visit some cave paintings, and also the Giant's Cave, an impressive cave where a few years ago family and friends found 19 mummies! We couldn't do any of this if we were at home. Sometimes complications arise, like today's river flooding, but generally, we enjoy this lifestyle intensely! We enjoy every day, seeing new places, camping in the wilderness, getting to know the local people and their cultures, tasting food, and much more—this is what keeps us choosing this lifestyle!
