Here, in Nuevo Casas Grandes, we met Jorge and Sony, who welcomed us warmly and took us to explore one of the most famous places in the area: the archaeological site of La Cueva de la Olla (Cave of the Pot). We did some hiking, ate delicious barbacoa, cooked over the campfire, and were having a great time until Nico had a minor mishap or accident. He sprained his ankle when he got out of the truck the wrong way, changing our plan a bit and making it impossible for him to continue exploring.
