Steely Dan's Rikki Don't Lose That Number for solo piano
Solo piano version of Steely Dan's Rikki Don't Lose That Number, a US #4 hit in 1974 and the opening track from the LP Pretzel Logic (a copy of which is propped up on the music stand). The song is written by Donald Fagen, has a vaguely bossa nova feel and starts in the key of E. I have also tried to recreate Jeff "Skunk" Baxter's guitar solo after the second chorus, which is ten times easier to play on the piano and sounds ten times less good.
