The plaintiff gave the defendant a deposit for an apartment. Unfortunately, the plaintiff says he was told two months later the apartment was no longer available. The defendant won’t return his security deposit, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant claims the plaintiff dragged his feet trying to come up with the deposit money, and then he backed out all of a sudden.
