A stripped back mix of Now and Then without the wonderful orchestra or added backing vocals. Two parts are highlighted during this mix George's guitar and Paul's singing during the solo. George's guitar extends much further than what can be heard in the final mix as heard here isolated: • The Beatles - Now and Then [George's Isola... . With that we know that in 1995 they had the structure of the song, acoustic guitars, George's electric guitar, some vocals (although I'm not sure if any of the 95 vocals were used in the final mix), a bass part (it was later redone for the final version) and some very basic percussion done. All that was missing was additional instrumentation and backing vocals. I also for the life of me can't hear where Ringo's backing vocals are. Hope you enjoy this stripped back mix!
