#442 Dans les Monts du Lyonnais, ce bus pas comme les autres rend service aux administrés

In the Monts du Lyonnais region, the France Services bus travels through 30 towns and villages to assist residents with their administrative procedures. It's an essential complement to the two France Services centers located in Saint-Laurent-de-Chamousset and Saint-Symphorien-sur-Coise. Without an appointment, Violaine and Stéphanie welcome users to a fully equipped mobile office. Taxes, retirement, health, or CAF (family allowance) applications: the advisors have the same tools as in a traditional office. "The fact that the bus comes to the heart of the village gives confidence to those who wouldn't dare walk into a government office," explains Stéphanie Jacquet, an advisor. This project is the legacy of Marie-Luce Arnoux: the former mayor of Chambost-Longessaigne and former vice-president for active solidarity at the Monts du Lyonnais Community of Municipalities (CCMDL) championed this initiative during her 18 years in office. With a budget of over €100,000 per year borne by the Communauté de Communes (inter-municipal council), this is a clear political choice. Well done on this initiative, which makes public services even more accessible and humane.
