Nintendo’s Best IP Is One Their Fans Actively Avoid

Metroid was a series I never expected to like, and I think this is a common, yet misguided perception. This perception needs to be challenged, because if your experience is anything like mine, it is not grounded in reality of what this series is actually like. Ahead of the release of Metroid Prime 4, I want to not just talk about the things I like about the series or which games to try out if you are slightly interested, but my personal journey that led to me to the realization that I don't just love these games; but that I always should have.
