The Zero Point IS your grandpa's flanger, as you won't find knobs for rate, depth, or any such nonsense, just authentic tape-style flanger sounds. The Zero Point contains just two footswitches: "On" and "Flange." The momentary footswitch reacts to your playing just as a finger on a tape machine would: pressing and holding the footswitch gently slows down the second virtual tape machine's reel for warm, studio-like flange tones in a no-frills box. Let the footswitch go, and the flange sweeps back down gradually to the starting point. If you're looking for that elusive through-zero sound, the Zero Point delivers that as well. Hold the footswitch while powering the pedal to change the mode, the LED will change colors, and the Zero Point will rise to the cancellation point and fall when released. An internal Gain trimpot allows users to emulate the preamp of the tape machine, for some gentle grit and an enhanced effect. Like every Catalinbread pedal, the Zero Point is hand made right here in Portland Oregon using primo parts and a careful ear.
