MY STRAVA DATA FOR STAGE 5:   / strava   📍 Stage 5: Aínsa → Jaca 🚴 Distance: 98 km ⛰️ Elevation gain: +2,100 m The adventure continues, and we've reached the fifth stage of the Transpyr Gravel Adventure 2026. On paper, this stage seemed to offer a brief respite, but it would ultimately prove that there isn't a single easy day on this Pyrenees crossing. After reaching the halfway point of the race in Aínsa, a stage awaited us with seemingly more forgiving statistics than previous days. Ahead of us lay nearly 98 kilometers and around 2,100 meters of accumulated elevation gain—figures that, compared to the previous stages, might have suggested a more manageable day. However, after four consecutive days crossing the Pyrenees on a gravel bike, accumulated fatigue was starting to take its toll. Our legs weren't responding as well, recovery was becoming increasingly important, and any difficulty could amplify its impact on our performance. And that's precisely where the surprise the organizers had in store for us lay. Before the start, we were warned that several sections of the route would be particularly challenging for a gravel bike. Highly technical stretches, demanding trails, and areas that, at times, felt more like mountain biking than traditional gravel riding. From that moment on, the race strategy changed completely. It was no longer just about managing the distance and elevation gain. We also had to maintain maximum concentration to avoid crashes, breakdowns, or mistakes that could jeopardize the rest of the adventure. Furthermore, this type of terrain made it virtually impossible to calculate the actual stage times, since in some places we would likely have to dismount and walk. What seemed like a quick day turned into a real mystery. Kilometer after kilometer, we discovered a tremendously varied stage, with constant changes in terrain, technical trails, fast tracks, and spectacular landscapes of the Aragonese Pyrenees accompanying us throughout the day. Once again, the Transpyr reminded us that this adventure isn't measured solely in kilometers or meters of elevation gain. The true difficulty lies in the ability to adapt each day, in managing accumulated fatigue, and in facing the unexpected when you least expect it. 🎁 DISCOUNTS AND MATERIAL: 👉 SIROKO (-10% cumulative): https://srko.co/marcbici 👉 COMPEX (-32% MARCBICI code): https://www.compex.com/es/ 👉 NDL PRO HEALTH (-10% MARC10 code): https://ndlprohealth.com 👉 YOELEO (-10% marcbici code): https://www.yoeleobike.com/?ref=marcbici 👉 TRIFOX Bikes: https://www.trifoxbike.com/?ref=marcbici 👉 MIGOU (-10% marcbici code): https://migoubcn.com 📸 INSTAGRAM:   / marcbici   🚴‍♂️ STRAVA:   / strava
