MY STRAVA DATA FOR STAGE 2:   / strava   📍 Stage 2: Camprodon → La Seu d'Urgell 🚴 Distance: 135 km ⛰️ Elevation gain: +3,000 m Welcome to the second chapter of our adventure in the 2026 Transpyr Gravel Adventure, the new gravel version of the legendary Transpyr Coast to Coast, one of Europe's greatest multi-stage cycling experiences. The Transpyr Gravel Adventure offers a spectacular challenge: crossing the Pyrenees from sea to sea in just 7 stages, covering more than 900 kilometers and accumulating around 17,500 meters of elevation gain from Roses, on the Mediterranean coast, to Irún, on the Atlantic coast. An adventure that combines dirt tracks, secondary roads, mountain passes, and some of the most breathtaking scenery in the entire Pyrenees. The organizers describe it as a true Coast to Coast experience where the sporting challenge, adventure, and camaraderie go far beyond competition. On this second stage, we left Camprodon and headed towards La Seu d'Urgell, a day that took us deep into the heart of the Pyrenees. Ahead of us lay approximately 135 kilometers and nearly 3,000 meters of accumulated elevation gain, a figure that made it clear from the start that the level of difficulty would increase significantly compared to the first stage. The route was marked by a very mountainous first half, with several demanding passes and two particularly tough climbs that tested our legs from the very beginning. As the day progressed, the terrain changed, but far from easing off, the stage held a tremendously demanding final stretch in store for us. Although the gradient eased in the final kilometers, the accumulated fatigue from so many hours on the bike transformed every track and trail into a true challenge. Furthermore, numerous technical sections demanded constant concentration, demonstrating that in the Transpyr, physical strength isn't the only factor; skill on the bike and effort management are equally important. A spectacular day, one that reminds you why the Pyrenees are one of the great paradises of adventure cycling.
