Hallelujah

This song was a special request by someone who needs our prayers. May she feel God's grace and touch in her journey. Note that I changed the lyrics from *maybe*, there's a God above to *baby*, there's a God above. I believe God can heal our spirit and soul if not our flesh. I created a backing track with my Roland BK7M to accompany the melody. Hallelujah was a song written by Canadian singer, Leonard Cohen, originally released on his album Various Positions (1984). Jeff Buckley recorded his version of the song on his only complete album in 1994. It didn't find popularity until it was released as a single ten years after his death. It become well know after being featured in the film Shrek in 2001. This version was sung by Alexandra Burke in 2008 as winner of the fifth series of the X Factor.
