“A Whiter Shade of Pale” was recorded by the English rock band, Procol Harum. It was a number one hit single in 1967 and is one of the few singles to have sold over 10 million copies. No one ever really understands the lyrics nor remembers them, but the melody is embedded in our memories from days gone by. A backing track was used to accompany my organ part.
