Strawberry Mint Limeade Recipe - Made With Real Strawberries

Strawberry Mint Limeade (makes 6-8 servings) Ingredients: -3/4 cup strawberries, halved (150g) -3 tablespoons granulated sugar, divided -water -2-3 sprigs of fresh mint -1 lime, sliced -1 (12oz) can frozen limeade concentrate (or homemade - see below) Additional Garnishments: -1/4 cup strawberries, sliced (50g) -1 tablespoon mint, sliced -1-2 cups ice cubes Instructions: 1. Start by making a strawberry puree. In a blender add 3/4 cup of strawberries (fresh or frozen), 1 tablespoon of sugar, and 3 tablespoons of water. Blend until combined. Set aside. 2. In a large pitcher add 2 tablespoons of sugar, 8-10 mint leaves, and 2-3 slices of lime. Muddle the mint and lime into the sugar with the end of a wooden spoon. 3. Then add the frozen limeade concentrate into the pitcher. Add water according to limeade directions on the side of the can. Make sure to leave enough head space at the top of the pitcher for the strawberry puree and additional garnishments. Mix until the frozen concentrate is dissolved. 4. Finally add in the strawberry puree, additional lime slices, 1/4 cup of sliced strawberries, 1 tablespoon of sliced mint, and 1-2 cups of ice cubes. Stir until the strawberry puree is mixed into the limeade. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve. Enjoy!
