Glacier & Turquoise Lakes in the Mission Mountains Wilderness of the Flathead National Forest
This 13.5 mile hike takes us into the Mission Mountains Wilderness to Glacier Lake, Lagoon Lake, Lace Lake and Turquoise Lake. The first 1.5 miles to Glacier Lake is very flat. You then retrace your path back to the main trail and head toward Turquoise Lake. Several switchbacks and a steady incline gets to to a ridge where you can see across the valley to the east to the Swan Mountain Range. You then descend for just under a mile to Lagoon, Lace and Turquoise Lakes. A fantastic venture into the Flathead National Forest and the Mission Mountains!
