CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES Approval of minutes of the May 4, 2026 City Council meeting and May 11, 2026 Council Work Session. a) Council Motion / Vote E. APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE 1. ORDINANCE(S) Consider approval of Appropriation Ordinance No. 5 dated May 6, 2026. a) Council Motion / Vote F. VISITORS 1. Connie Hummel, representing Go! Augusta, will be present to request $600 in funding for prizes for the Spring Adopt-a-Pot Competition. 2. Call for Other Visitors. (Visitors may be recognized at this time to address the Governing Body regarding items not specifically listed on the Agenda – 5- minute limit. G. BUSINESS 1. CONSTRUCTION MANAGER AT RISK AGREEMENT WITH DONDLINGER CONSTRUCTION FOR PUBLIC WORKS CAMPUS Consider approval of CM@R Agreement with Dondlinger Construction for the Augusta Public Works Campus project to include: 1) preconstruction services in the amount of $13,448; 2) a CM@R fee of 3.95% of the Cost of Work; and 3) General Conditions Work in an amount not to exceed $443,212. a) Staff Report b) Council Motion / Vote 2. PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH THE PUBLIC POLICY & MANAGEMENT CENTER AT WSU FOR HOUSING ACTION PLAN Consider approval of the professional services agreement with the Public Policy & Management Center at WSU to develop a Housing Action Plan for the City of Augusta in an amount not to exceed $7,989 and authorize Assistant City Manager Kamme Sroufe to execute the agreement. a) Staff Report b) Council Motion / Vote 3. ORDINANCE REPEALING AND REPLACING CHAPTER 2, SECTION 126 OF MUNICIPAL CODE REGARDING ANIMAL WASTE Consider approval of Ordinance No. 2266 repealing and replacing Chapter 2, Section 126 of the Code of the City of Augusta, Kansas, relating to animal waste. a) Staff Report b) Council Motion / Roll Call Vote H. MATTERS FROM/FOR COUNCIL 1. City Manager. Schedule Budget Work Session #2 for Monday, June 8, 2026 at 5:30 PM. Save the Dates for possible Budget Work Sessions on Monday, June 22 and/or Monday, June 29. 2. Call for Other Matters.
