Dove visitare un Jurassic Park in Italia? | Un paleontologo esplora un mondo perduto

A lost world like in Jurassic Park? It is located in Italy, and it is a true marvel... a paleontologist says! In this video I take you to a real lost world, where you can see fragments of the past, just as in Jurassic Park. The experience will remind you of the Jurassic Park movie and its T-rex, wandering around with other dinosaurs. The video is both a travelogue and a documentary on paleontology. We start the journey from Sauris, in the Alps, and go towards the Grado lagoon in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region. There is a site in the Adriatic Sea where animals and bacteria produce structures identical to those that existed millions of years ago, in the Precambrian, Cambrian and Triassic! The video answers several questions about enigmatic fossils and other science questions: what are stromatolites? And what are ichnofossils? How do crustaceans exploit the Bernoulli principle? What are we talking about when we say 'microbial mat'? What happened in the Cambrian? It will be a journey into paleontology and biology, between Earth Sciences and Life Sciences… I'm Andrea Baucon and this is Tracemaker, travels with the paleontologist! #palaeontology #documentary #friuliveneziagiulia // THE SCIENTIFIC STUDY This episode is based on a scientific study I co-authored.
