Launched in 2019, the third generation of the Ford Kuga arrives in a new plug-in hybrid version. In this configuration, it combines a 2.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine with an electric motor for a combined total output of 225 hp. Acceleration isn't exactly sluggish, and the 0-100 km/h sprint is achieved in a modest 9.2 seconds. The battery, meanwhile, has a total capacity of 14.4 kWh and promises a range of over 50 km according to the WLTP cycle. We tested this during a test drive on the roads of southern France.
