ESP8266 Proteus Library | ESP-01

After years of development, I am excited to introduce the ESP-01 Proteus simulation model, a powerful new way to explore IoT projects entirely within Proteus without any physical hardware. This model brings the capabilities of the popular ESP8266-01 module into simulation, allowing students, hobbyists, and engineers to experiment with real IoT concepts in a safe and controlled environment. The ESP-01 Proteus model is designed to closely resemble the actual hardware module while improving usability for simulation purposes. It includes six pins in total: two communication pins (TX/RX) and four fully functional GPIO pins. Input pins respond instantly and can be monitored live, while output pins can be controlled directly from the Proteus schematic or via HTTP commands. Key features of the ESP-01 Proteus simulation model include: Full HTTP client functionality for connecting to web servers and cloud platforms Support for both HTTP and HTTPS requests, including GET, POST, PUT, and DELETE methods Realistic AT command responses with headers, status codes, and data payloads Web server capability with embedded dashboards or custom webpages True TCP client-server communication between multiple ESP modules for full-duplex data transfer Instant input/output pin updates visible on the web interface or Proteus schematic While it is designed for simulation, this model faithfully replicates ESP-01 behavior, allowing you to experiment with IoT projects, learn about web communication, and control devices—all without the need for physical hardware. This simulation model has been fully tested in Proteus 8. Some features like flash programming are not supported yet, but you can still use the web server functionality to upload custom web pages and interact with GPIO pins in real-time. 💡 You can download the ESP-01 Proteus model here: https://electronicstree.com/esp8266-p... 📣 For the latest updates, join our WhatsApp and Telegram channels, and follow our Facebook page to stay informed about new simulation models and tutorials.
