Golubac, Serbia - Hidden in the easternmost corner of Serbia, Golubac is one of the most incredible places I had a chance to visit in Serbia. Located right on the banks of the Danube as it enters into the Carpathian mountains, the fortress served as an important strategic point for many empires centuries ago. In this video, we had a chance to explore all the incredible towers of the fortress, taking in the views of the Danube and getting a first-hand experience of how life was like in these medieval fortresses.
