As I reflected on my journey with the Lord, I found myself remembering the countless times He met me where I was. Time and time again... He rescued me. He comforted me. He provided for me. He forgave me. He reminded me that I was never alone. This sound is a testimony of God's consistent faithfulness through every season of life. Each time you sing it, you're pointing to another moment where God was faithful. My Discernment I hear four movements in this sound. 1. Remembrance You are looking back over your life and recognizing God's fingerprints where you didn't always see them at the time. 2. Gratitude This isn't asking God for something. It's thanking Him for what He has already done. 3. Friendship with God One line stood out more than any other: "You are my closest friend." That changes the atmosphere. The relationship becomes personal, not just devotional. 4. Surrender The ending is beautiful: "My life is not my own... Use me as You need me."
