3 Fender Strats (1961 American Vintage II + Am Pro II + Original 1962)
This video is mostly about the Fender American Vintage II, 1961 Stratocaster replica. It includes some information about an Original 1962 Stratocaster I got to play and an American Professional II Strat. The 1962 was great (and the 'winner') but prohibitively expensive. The American Pro II has a nice satin neck I prefer, but I didn't love the push pot...I have an American Pro (one ?) and I like everything about it. The Vintage II 1961 replica was a winner I thought...this one was perfect, no visible flaws and played great...the neck lacquer is very thick, but I assume that was how the 1961 must have been. I liked it a lot !
