Fender: American Vintage II 1961 Olympic White Stratocaster

https://www.fender.com Fender's new American Vintage II series of guitars is pretty darned fantastic for those of us who would love to own a vintage instrument but cannot justify or generate the funds now required to do so. This rather excellent recreation of their 1961 Olympic White Stratocaster is going to find a long-term home with me. It is set up beautifully with full attention to period-correct detail as well as a sprinkling of modern appointments like the 5-Way switch and tone control for the bridge pickup. I love it and will be taking it on the road this week for its first tour of duty. Rock on.
