How Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart Changed My Life
It's hard to believe that Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is already five years old. Not only was it one of the PS5's first true showcase titles, but it also ended up becoming a hugely important game in my own life. It was the first review I was ever paid to make, and it helped kickstart a 4-year journey working as a professional games reviewer. So in this retrospective, I wanted to revisit Rift Apart, celebrate what Insomniac got so right, talk about a few things that haven't aged quite as well, and reflect on what the game means to me all these years later.
