Today’s painting marks the beginning of a style I’ve wanted to explore for a long time—Breaking Out of the Frame. Using a simple monochromatic landscape, I allowed the grasses to grow beyond the edge of the painting, adding delicate gold highlights to create a sense of freedom, movement and escape. I have a feeling this is only the beginning of a new direction for my art.
