Today’s painting is another step in my new Breaking Out of the Frame series—and I think I’ve completely fallen in love with this style. Using a circular composition, I wanted to create a peaceful coastal scene that feels as though it’s escaping beyond the page. It feels fresh, elegant and unlike anything I’ve painted before.
